OPEN STUDIOS - Áron Gábor

We are organizing a series of studio visits under the title "OPEN STUDIOS WITH AN INTERNATIONAL VIEW" in the studio of five artists working in the Balaton highlands, among them painter Áron Gábor.

With the series of studio visits, we create an opportunity for those interested in contemporary art to gain insight into the creative processes, as well as to establish professional contacts and get to know the life of the "Villa Biener Arte contemporanea" contemporary gallery and international artist colony operating in Cipressa, Northern Italy.

ÁRON GÁBOR

He lives and works in Budapest and Badacsonytomaj. It represents researching and analyzing painting linked to avant-garde traditions. It juxtaposes geometric, man-made spaces with organic natural elements. His art is characterized by picturesqueness interspersed with strong graphic elements and the use of different mediums. He works in painting, graphics, experimental film, sculpture and installation. In his last period, he articulates the difference and drama of the characters through abstract heads and faces. For the past forty years, his works have been in many museums and private collections around the world. He participated in European and overseas scholarships and study trips.
