June 28, Saturday, 2025, 7:00 PM-9:00 PM

The Dutch Animato Quartet will perform: Inga Vaga Gaustand (violin), Tim Brackman (violin), Elisa Karen Tavenier (viola), Pieter de Koe (cello).

The concert will take place within the framework of the Creative Europe MERITA project and is organized by Cadenza Art Management. The audience of the Csigó Mill will be able to listen to three string quartets from Beethoven's Op. 18 series.

Breaking with the classical performing traditions, the four young artists create a direct connection with the audience in the salon concert. Through their fresh, individual interpretations, they place Beethoven's works on the musical palette of the present day, thereby opening up a perspective towards the future for the works of the renowned composer they present.

Salon program: informal conversation, getting to know the artists accompanied by wine tasting.

Ticket: 4.500 HUF.

Seen as the most promising young string quartet in the Netherlands, the Animato Quartet is known for its passionate, spontaneous playing and powerful on-stage presence. Founded in 2013, their programs combine both classical pieces drawn from the string quartet repertoire and contemporary compositions.

In 2023 the Kersjes Prize the most important state prize for classical chamber music talent, was given to these four musicians. From the jury report: “Four players, each maintaining and using

their individual expression, have developed a multi-layered and intense playing as a quartet with a wide palette of colours”.
